The New Mexico Museum of Natural History was founded in the year 1986. It is not a very old museum however it consists of a huge variety of specimens from all over the region. The museum is situated in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The main motive of the museum is to preserve the unique natural heritage of the state and spread awareness about it. It is done by showcasing some of the best specimen collection from all over the state.

The Bisti Beast
It is one of the most famous dinosaur fossils from North America and has been displayed in the museum. They are dug out from San Juan Basin in New Mexico.
The Hall Of Stars
The hall of the star is an interactive display showing how the stars are organized in the night sky. It is one of the best of its kind and teaches the explorers to find out all the constellations in the night sky on their own.
The T-Rex attack is the exhibit showcasing the second largest T-Rex in the world.
Fossil work is the live demonstration of the extraction of the fossil from the rock in the museum.
The Naturalist Center
It is the education room of the museum and lets visitors gain knowledge about the natural world.
There is also a planetarium in the museum that is an amalgamation of science and art. There’s a huge theater that plays various educational multimedia presentations about the space and the space science. The shows like One World One Sky, Earth’s Wild Ride and From Earth To Universe are available for the visitors.
