About the Bell Museum of Natural History
The Bell Museum is a gateway to Minnesota's natural wonders, a center for the study of biodiversity and its origins, and a point of entry to the University of Minnesota. A unit within the College of Food, Agricultural, and Natural Resource Sciences, the museum's mission is to advance the quest to discover, document, and understand life in its many forms and to inspire curiousity, delight, and informed stewardship of the natural world.
Minnesota's natural history museum since 1872, the Bell Museum serves all Minnesotans through collections, exhibits, education, statewide outreach, and groundbreaking research.
