Exploring Evolution: Discovering How Life Changes

Feel fossil impressions on the Archaeopteryx fossil and compare its features to dinosaurs and birds, arrange fossil human skulls to test various patterns of human evolution, and see how Teddy Bears have changed over time to 'adapt' to the selection pressures of the commercial marketplace. Exploring Evolution presents this fundamental, unifying principle of biology in a fun, participatory, and challenging way.

This modular, participatory exhibit includes 13 panels with interactive displays, models, and a Life Through Time puzzle. This exhibit requires some supervision and maintenance.
