Flora of Minnesota
We have approximately 2,700 species documented as occurring in the state, although a few are historical records and might not still be found. Approximately 6% are listed as rare with another 6% on a watch list; almost 20% are introductions (from outside the Midwest) that have become naturalized or nearly so.
Three taxa are endemic to Minnesota: Erythronium propullans (Minnesota dwarf trout-lily), Botrychium gallicomontanum (Frenchman's bluff moonwort), and Erigeron pulchellus var. tolsteadii (Tolstead's robin's-plantain).
