The native plant market will feature 4 native plant vendors selling native plants in a similar format to a farmers market. There will be activities for adults and children including a bug booth, bug sweeps, and owl talks (with a live owl) by the Three Rivers Park District as well as plant walks, tree climbing demonstrations (and possible climbing for the kids), tree planting demonstrations, and a miniature golf set up by the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District that promotes protecting water quality. The event will be announced as “rain or shine”, with the understanding that some activities may not be available if it rains. If the weather becomes severe, the event likely will be canceled.
