DISTANCE LEARNING Regional Mentor Teacher Program Do you want to find a way to share your science teaching talents with your peers? The Bell Museum of Natural History invites you to be a Mentor Teacher for the DISTANCE LEARNING programs. Thanks to state support, this new program will bring science as it is happening to classrooms all over Minnesota. DISTANCE LEARNING integrates three of the Bell Museum's programs: The JASON Project, Bell LIVE!, and Bell Learning Kits. Teachers with an interest in science will serve as regional contacts for other teachers utilizing DISTANCE LEARNING programs throughout the school year. Interested educators need to be a contact throughout the year and feel comfortable teaching peers and with public speaking. Mentors can expect to contribute 30-40 hours of their time during the school year. We will provide a $200.00 stipend plus mileage and sub fees if necessary. Responsibilities:
For an application, contact the DISTANCE LEARNING office at 1-800-923-5548 or (612) 626-2220. Or download an application in text or PDF format! Bell LIVE! Distance Learning Site Map
