Home Educators
JASON Club
The JASON Club is an enriching program designed for homeschool students by the Bell Museum's homeschool mentor teachers.
During this nine-week course, students meet every other week to explore the JASON XV themes through hands-on curricular
exercises, field trips, guest experts, and a viewing of the live satellite broadcast in January.
Home Educator's Science Fair
This event seeks to assemble homeschool students and their families for the JASON XV broadcasts. Participants are invited to bring a completed project that addresses this
year's "Rainforests at the Crossroads" theme. This project can be something straight from the JASON XV curriculum or it can be a creative extension inspired by this
year's expedition to Panama.
During the Science Fair, Bell Museum staff members will engage students in discussion regarding their projects and all students
will receive a certificate of participation. Light refreshments will be served during this event and everyone is encouraged
to attend the live satellite broadcast.
