Bell LIVE!
Great Lakes: A Superior Adventure Lighthouse Sea lamprey LIVE from the Lake!

On October 12, 2000 Bell LIVE! broadcasted live from the shores of Lake Superior and the Great Lakes Aquarium in Duluth, Minnesota. The Great Lakes Aquarium is America's only all freshwater aquarium and will serve as "homebase" for Bell LIVE! 2000.

Did you know that very little life lives in Lake Superior even though it's the third largest lake in the world? Lake Superior is very cold (40 degrees Fahrenheit/4 degrees Celsius) and has a relatively small watershed. However, the lake is home to some 48 species of native fish. During the broadcasts, we explored some of these native fish as well as some of the many exotic or non-native organisms that live in Lake Superior. We also looked at how the lake effects our everyday weather, water quality, and the Great Lakes history.

So join us and explore the Great Lakes with our online activities!
