Meet the Bell LIVE! 2000 Team
|
Here is the R/V Blue Heron, one of two research vessels that was docked right outside the Great Lakes Aquarium during the broadcasts. |
Here is the L.L. Smith Jr., the other research vessel used during the broadcasts. It is slightly smaller than the Blue Heron, but very charming. |
This a picture of the satellite van belonging to CONUS Communications. Their employees and equipment make it possible for students all over the country to view our broadcasts. |
If you've got questions, we've got answers! We had a room full of museum staff, experts and volunteers, who were all very busy answering questions that were faxed and emailed to us during the broadcasts. |
And...Action! If you saw the broadcast, than you probably know what it looked like in front of the cameras, but did you know what it looked like behind all of those cameras? |
This is a picture of our hosts and Bell LIVE! team members as they explore a tank full of those curious looking sturgeons. During the broadcast, the cameras zoomed in so close you could almost feel the fish slime on your hands! |
