BCM is a coalition of partners at three levels:

1.Financial Supporters provide direct financial contributions and substantial in-kind resources, time, or materials to the BCM coalition. Financial supporters may be organizations or individuals.

Currently, the seven financial supporters are the US Fish & Wildlife Service Nongame Bird Office, US Fish & Wildlife Service Joint Ventures, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, Bell Museum, Minnesota Ornithologist’s Union, Audubon Minnesota, and Prairie Restorations Inc.

2.Endorsing Organizations are organizations, agencies, or businesses that have signed on to the BCM coalition, signifying that they agree with the broad mission of BCM to keep common birds common and reverse species declines. These organizations' names will be listed in BCM marketing materials and fundraising efforts. Endorsing organizations will actively support and enhance the mutual goals of the participating BCM organizations through collaborative efforts.

3.Interested Individuals are people who have asked to receive ongoing information about the work of BCM. Their names and e-mail addresses will be maintained in an electronic group list for BCM announcements, with references to the website for more information.
